Aspiring actors may audition for Christmas experience at ABAC

TIFTON, GA – The Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture is looking for actors ages 15 and older to participate in the Museum’s Christmas performance.

“A Wiregrass Christmas Carol” is a take on Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” that everyone knows and loves. In the Wiregrass version, audiences join curmudgeonly printer Edwin G. Fitzer as he is enlightened, and perhaps horrified, by the three spirits of Christmas: past, present and future. Participants will be taken through the Historic Village by tram to watch the story unfold at selected sites decorated by the season.

“A Wiregrass Christmas Carol” promises a fun, immersive holiday experience for actors and spectators alike. Auditions will be held at the GMA Peanut Museum Conference Room behind the Country Store Thursday and Friday, September 9 and 10 from 3 – 6 p.m.. No need to have anything planned, a simple reading of a portion of the play will serve as your audition.
